Providing ‘whole-patient’ approach to the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)
Retraining the Village.org 501(c)(3) is a residential recovery service provider of the MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) program, in collaboration with MedMark Treatment Centers, BAART Programs, and Sierra Health Foundation, providing a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
Research has shown that the combination of peer support, counseling, and medication assistance is successful at treating OUD and helps sustain recovery long term.

Back To Basics offers a transitional, supportive home environment during the MAT recovery period. Residents are also offered sustainability and skills training as part of the Retraining the Village 501(c)(3) re-entry program.
Medications used in MAT are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and MAT programs are customized and monitored by medical clinicians for each patient’s specific needs.
